What Is Pulsatile Tinnitus

As you can make out the pulsatile tinnitus is a sort of tinnitus in which you hear rhythmical noise that beats in tune with your pulse. You'll get to hear single or Multiple rhythmic beats and it can be either low pitched humping sound or a high pitched Clicking noise. Pulsatile tinnitus can be caused due to raised blood pressure, world shaped tumor, a defect of a vein or artery and heart murmur. There are many effective treatments for pulsatile tinnitus.

Pulsatile tinnitus can also be caused due to change of blood flow in the big arteries and veins in the neck region, base of the skull region or the blood vessels within the ears.

The middle ear part is full of air but when some infection or soreness of the middle ear occurs then fluid gets accumulated behind the middle ear and this is what result in pulsatile tinnitus.

In case the globe formed tumors are present in the middle ear then it can also cause pulsatile tinnitus and the sole way to cure it is by surgery.
