The Anti Candida Diet Uncovered

By Luke Lister

Many people start to research about Candida, due to unexplainable and unmanageable symptoms which turn out to be the result of Candida, but as the research begins most people become overwhelmed and get confused about where to start.

By know you are probably aware that sugar feeds the Candida, so sweets are definitely a no no. But be sure to realize that while fruits are good for you, in this case the sugar in fruits acts the same way to feed the Candida, so you must avoid fruit in the initial stages of your diet. In time you can be sure to re-introduce fruit, as they provide good vitamins and nutrition.

On top of avoiding sugar the initial stages should also avoid yeast most commonly found in breads and sauces, at least until the spread of infection is stopped.

Your body allows the infection to take place because your immune system is overrun or suppressed to the point it cannot fight the spreading Candida. For this reason you need to avoid foods which suppress the immune system, foods such meat and chicken are injected with antibiotics to keep them healthy, as well as hormones and preservatives, all of these things help to suppress the immune system, non worse then antibiotics. As well as meats, vegetables can have toxic sprays on them to kill off bugs. The solution is to eat totally organic, or as much organic food as possible.

More obvious things that suppress your immune are nicotine and especially alcohol which also contains sugar.

The last thing on the list to avoid is fungus and mushrooms.

In total you need to avoid refined carbohydrates that over stress the digestive system, as well as alcohol, nicotine, fungus, yeast, and of course sugar.

Try to think about natural organic foods, that are not refined. Leafy vegetables, herbs, fish, whole grains, seeds, sea vegetables and some organic meat.

Flushing your system with lots of water is essential to the diet, and it is a good idea to incorporate plenty of garlic since it kills Candida cells. This program really can be interesting if you understand the foods you can eat and are willing to experiment with recipes.

Since the greatest reason for Candida is the highly refined foods that litter the supermarket, and the ease of low nutritious fast foods, you will have to start to make some of your own meals.

Today's fast paced lifestyle of looking for quick and easy meals has lead to this epidemic. But don't worry, once you get use to consuming highly nutritious foods, and feel the energy they provide you won't feel like going back to your old habits.

Believe me we all find it difficult to make a new habit, but once made it will stick, and a good habit is one you will appreciate.
